A lumber yard's back lot, turned into a patio.
Marcus Reyes homebrewed in a Sunnyside garage for ten years and spent eight more on a brewpub's brew deck before he and Dana Whitfield signed the lease on a shut-down lumber yard in 2017. The sheds came down, the rafters became the bar, and the back lot became the patio: 120 seats of it. Fourteen of us run the place now, and every beer on the board is made behind the glass at the end of the bar, at 5,280 feet.

The patio
120 seats on the old lot. String lights, shade sails in summer, heaters in winter, and a 20-space parking lot out back.
Dogs welcome
Leashed dogs are welcome on the patio and inside. Water bowls at the end of the bar.
The brewhouse
A 10-barrel system behind the glass at the end of the bar. Every beer on the board is made right here, and you can watch it happen.
Kids till 8pm
House root beer on tap, a shelf of board games, and a patio to run around on. Kids are welcome until 8pm.
Book the Kiln Room.
The lumber yard's old kiln shed is now a private room off the patio: up to 60 seated or 80 standing, its own bar, your pick of the taps, a screen and projector, and a four-hour block.

“Trivia on a Tuesday is the highlight of our week. The pilsner is perfect and our dog gets more attention than we do.”
Jess, Sunnyside
“We rented the Kiln Room for my dad's 70th. Sixty people, our own taps, and Dana handled every detail.”
Priya, Highland
“Run club, then a hazy on the patio while the sun drops behind the mountains. That's just Wednesday now.”
Tyler, Berkeley

Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Leashed dogs are welcome on the patio and inside the taproom. There are water bowls at the end of the bar, and most nights there are more dogs than you'd expect.
Is there food?
A food truck pulls up Thursday through Sunday; the week's lineup is on the board above, and we post it every Monday. Other nights, bring your own or order in. Menus from nearby spots are at the bar.
Can I bring the kids?
Until 8pm, yes. There's house root beer on tap, a shelf of board games, and plenty of room on the patio.
Do you take reservations?
Not for the taproom. It's first come, first served. For a group of 12 or more, text us and we'll hold a couple of tables. For 25 or more, the Kiln Room is yours.
Where do I park?
A 20-space lot behind the patio, street parking on the block, and bike racks out front. Rideshare drop-off is right at the gate.
Can I take beer home?
Anything on the board goes into a 32-oz crowler, $14 to $18. Call or text ahead and we'll have them cold at the bar for curbside pickup.
Tonight's a good night for it.
Find us at 3845 Tejon Street, Denver, CO 80211, in Sunnyside. Street parking on the block, a 20-space lot out back, bike racks out front.
